Our Products

It all started with friends staying over for the weekend and us serving Yellow Mealie Meal Porridge for breakfast, and them wanting to be able to buy the product in Pietermaritzburg! And so we started.......

All the maize is grown, milled and packed on the farm.  We buy in the Sorghum and then mill and pack it ourselves.  We do not use genetically modified maize in our products (and are not prepared to get into the GMO debate).  Both the maize and amabele are gluten free.

The whole mealie is ground in a hammermill - nothing is removed and nothing is added.  It is wholesome goodness.  We have tried to reach a consistency that pleases most people.

Our product range now includes eMoyeni Yellow Mealie Meal in 1kg, 2kg and 5kg sizes, and eMoyeni Amabele, also in 1kg, 2kg and 5kg sizes.
