Our Story
Built in 1992, eMoyeni cottage is a rustic self-catering cottage nestled on the edge of the beautiful Belmont dam. It is completely off-grid, surrounded by Belmont Farm. The cottage provides a peaceful getaway, allowing you to immerse yourself in your surroundings. The dam is stocked annually with trout, making it the perfect spot for all fly fishermen, from the amateur to the well seasoned. There is an abundance of bird life, including Wattled, Blue and Crowned cranes, Cape and Bearded Vultures, King Fishers and many more.
The Cottage
The cottage sleeps 8 people maximum. It is fully equipped to serve everyone comfortably. There is one indoor bathroom with a bath and an outdoor shower.
Due to it being off-grid, there is a donkey boiler that needs to be lit to provide hot water, solar lights and a gas stove and fridge.
Braai facilities are available. The cottage is not serviced. You will need to bring your own towels, food, drink and personal items.
Minimum stay of two nights.
